In this time, technology now influenced surgery. Many people afraid under the knife which is grip them. This technology called by CardioArm. CardioArm shape like snake, it can go through to patient body. At Carnegie Mellon University, CardioArm was been discover how to heal in heart surgeries. This robot work by using joystick and monitor to controlled CardioArm outside the body. CardioArm was very elastic robot, it was a jointed robot, so it can avoid accidental internal injury. The only barrier to be success was the size of this robot, it was approximately 12 mm diameters and 30mm length. It was very big to go in to the body, so they think that will be easy if the robot can be smaller and fit inside blood vessels.
