NewsLetter

March13, 2008, Comtech’s class started to check and give feed back each of group about their NewLletters. Our topic is about TIMES SQAURE related to CIMP students. We make this article in order to introduce CIMP students to Times Square. We know that CIMP has a lot of homework, projects, test, quiz and so on, no wonder if the students sometimes can get so stressful, cry without reason. Our NewsLetter got some feedback from other groups some of the feedback said that our work is to colorful, fancy and other group said that it was good research. We need to improve our NewsLetter before final copies submit on March 19.

Scuba Car

                Rinspeed created the car that can drive in the water also can under water also. This car used light materials in purpose the car not drawn in the water.  The car can dive up to 10 meters underwater. This car concept is exactly same like scuba means that the driver should use air supply if they want to dive in the water. 

Pen Computer

Japan made new technology that called by pen computer. These pen function same as like computer. It works with Bluetooth technology. Each of pens has each function such as, do LCD, CPU, keyboard, camera and so on. You can purchase this technology around 30k$ or 24kE. With this technology, it is very accessable for everyone to bring this pen computer, anywhere, anytime!

     

FaceBook Consequences

Now, many students were using FaceBook in the wrong way. The first FaceBook purposes are to connect with you buddy, and find friends. However the students in some University use FaceBook to cheat. They sharing last term question, homework and so on with FaceBook. Some of the students afraid that their teacher will know about this case and maybe they will get kick out from school. The students who are get B rank from their professor, changed to F rank because their professors know about this case. In my opinion FaceBook can not use for this purpose it means they using cheat and plagiarism. They can study from make a group work together with their friends without using FaceBook.

Exercise OSSLT

Today, March 6,2008 all students in Mr. Avila class do the exercise for mock up OSLLT for March 7,2008 (Mocked up Test). The question that Mr. Avila gives is should students learn information and communication technology every year?. This question needs us to write essay that minimal three paragraph and we must make our idea to put in our essay. Before we started to do our exercise Mr. Avila told us if could we need to put five paragraphs in our essay, which is introduction, 1body, 2body, 3body and lastly conclusion. If we connect our thesis statement with each paragraph, interesting, and good grammar we can get a good score for that. Hope we can reach the goal and pass our test for OSLLT.

News Article Times Square

Last Friday, 29 February 2008, me and my partner Maggie went to the Times Square to do our project in there. Our project is about Times Square related with CIMP’s students, which are stressful. We also go with another friends from the other comtech class. They are Rani, Irene and Sherly.

We all went to Times Square using Taxi from Sunway College. After we arrive at Times Square we separate with Sherly group and started to take photo and collect information about Times Square. We took a lot of photos at there include the transportations, shops, fees and so on. To tell you the truth, this is not easy project because all the time we walk we must took pictures, and also a lot of people wondering what we do. It was quit embarrassing. In the other hands, Sherly group topic was about Harajuku, that means they need to take a people who are wearing Harajuku clothes. Some of people refuse to take their photo and run away, some also very happy to took their photo and they pose very funny. We spent our time almost one day include the way. It was very hard project also interesting.

PC case

Sometimes some people not satisfied with their PC case until they modified it into something cool, unique or cute PC case. Here some example of creative PC

     

I wonder how this people can be really creativ and make a such technology to create unique things like this??hmmm….

 

Dinner in the Sky

Now we can dinner in the sky using technology that can bring us upper of the sky.  This technology can bring us 40 until 50 meters height from the ground. This place has limited seats, they only provides 22 people. To ensure the safety, they put seat belt of each chair.

The most interesting is it can held 90 tonnes or 160 tonnes.

      

Learning Skills Report

Last Friday February 22, 2008 we got our Learning Skills Report from my teacher advisor Mr. Q. Learning Skill Report is the report that tell our progress in our subjects. This semester I took 3 subjects, which are TGJ4M, BBB4M and CGW4U. I am very happy with my mark for TGJ4M, for the first time I think I will get D rank because of my mistake last time I made in my job flyer. Instead of that my other subjects was still need improvement, for instance BBB4M and CGW4U this two subjects need a lot of initiative to talk in the class. I am very weak to talk in the class, when I want to give my opinion in the class I felt very shame without reason. Because of that, in the class I always keep my mouth and just listen teacher talk, I do not like to talk in the class. After I see my report I very disappointed and maybe I will try to talk in the class.
